Using multiple rules for a call forwarding schedule
When you create a call forwarding schedule, you can use multiple rules at the same time. However, if a rule applies, the subsequent rules are ignored. Create the rules in the following order:
For example, when you want to forward calls outside of business hours and during holidays, first add a rule for forwarding calls during holidays, and then add a rule for forwarding calls outside of business hours.
During holidays, the first rule will forward the calls, and the second rule will be ignored. Outside of business hours, if the first rule doesn't cover this period, the second rule will forward the calls.

Using an auto-attendant
You can use an auto-attendant when forwarding calls for a hunt group.
For example, an auto-attendant can play a greeting message that describes your business hours, but does not allow the caller to leave a voicemail message. To set up this type of auto-attendant, select a personal greeting, but do not select any actions for the dialling menu.
Forwarding calls overnight or during holidays
If you want to forward calls during specific periods, such as overnight or during holidays, you must first set up schedules for those periods.
Outside of business hours, you want to forward calls to the voicemail of a hunt group.
Enter the *55<number>
value for the voicemail of the hunt group.
You can't listen to calls forwarded to a voicemail of a hunt group, but you can receive the voicemail messages by email.
