If you want to control which incoming calls reach your phone, you can set up rules to select which calls to accept, which calls to reject or both.
For each rule, you need to specify the days and times when the rule applies and the types of phone number or the individual numbers that the rule accepts or rejects.

Sarah from Sales and Marketing is going on holiday and only wants to receive calls from her boss and her family while she is away. She creates an accept selected calls rule using her personal holiday plan and the phone numbers for her boss and family members.
As Sarah already has a rule set up to reject all calls while she is on her lunch break, she now has the following active rules:
Although Sarah has restricted the calls that will reach her while she is on holiday, she may receive calls from her boss and family at lunchtime, as the second rule is not checked if the first rule is met. As Sarah doesn't want to take work calls at lunchtime, she decides to add another rule to reject her boss's calls at this time. As reject rules are checked after accept rules, Sarah adds another accept rule but this time with the Anruf nicht annehmen option selected.
Sarah now has the following active rules:
Now only calls from Sarah's family will reach her during the lunch period. When she returns from holiday, Sarah deactivates the two accept rules.
