Requirements for One Net Business applications
For the One Net Business services and the individual One Net Business applications to operate correctly and effectively, your IT system must meet the requirements shown below.
Your network environment must meet the following minimum requirements in order to support One Net Business.
Make sure the ports listed below are open in your firewall application and available for One Net Business communication.

Device management |
One Net applications and devices, such as IP phones, connect to the One Net platform to authenticate the user. They system automatically downloads their configuration data and provides access to network-based features such as call logs and the company's main phone book. |
Phone book integration |
Provides integration with your organisation's existing LDAP-based phone directory, such as Active Directory or Open Directory |
One Net Manager |
Provides access to One Net Manager to allow setting changes by users and administrators |
Domain Name Services |
DNS translates server and device names into IP addresses so that computers, mobile devices and IP phones can communicate with One Net. |
Time server |
Network Time Protocol is used to ensure that your IP phone has the correct time. |
Chat (instant messaging) and availability |
Used to show contacts and their availability to chat and for chatting, file transfers and XMPP |
Audio |
For high-definition audio calls with the One Net app |
Video |
For high-definition video calls with the One Net app |
File transfer |
The One Net app on a PC or Mac can perform file transfers during one-to-one chats. |
Screen share |
Restricted to users using the One Net app on a PC or Mac |
Single sign-on |
Provides access to One Net Call Centre and One Net Receptionist, including user authentication |
Collaboration |
Implementation of audio and video conferencing for One Net users and their guests. |
