A hunt group is a way to manage incoming calls in your organisation. With a hunt group, all calls to a particular number are distributed among a group of people. The distribution of the calls depends on the policy you apply to the hunt group.
A hunt group is created in a 'Pending' state. When Vodafone has activated the hunt group, it changes the state to 'Activated' and the hunt group can receive calls.
You can't delete a hunt group or modify its configuration settings until it is activated. However, you can assign users and configure any calling services you want to use with it.
When a hunt group has been added, an administrator can configure its settings.

To add a hunt group
When adding a hunt group, you can assign a custom extension to it.
The pending hunt group appears in the list of users on the Benutzer einrichten page. When Vodafone has activated the hunt group, it changes the state to 'Activated' and the hunt group can receive calls.
You need to set up the list of people to receive calls and the policy for distributing calls. You can do this while the hunt group's state is pending.

You can change the hunt group's phone number, name or assigned call services.

You can delete a hunt group when it is no longer needed. When a group is deleted, the phone number becomes available immediately for reassignment.
