An auto-attendant is an automated receptionist that answers calls with a greeting and a menu of dialling options.
An auto-attendant is created in a 'Pending' state. When Vodafone has activated the auto-attendant, it changes the state to 'Activated' and the auto-attendant can receive calls.
You can't delete an auto-attendant or modify its configuration settings until it is activated. However, you can set up the greeting and menu options, and configure any calling services that are assigned to it.

To add an auto-attendant
When adding an auto-attendant, you can assign a custom extension to it.
The pending auto-attendant appears in the list of users on the Benutzer einrichten page. When Vodafone has activated the auto-attendant, it changes the state to 'Activated' and the auto-attendant can receive calls.
You can set up the greeting and dialling menus while the auto-attendant's state is pending.

You can change the auto-attendant's phone number, name or assigned call services.

You can delete an auto-attendant when it is no longer needed. When it is deleted, the phone number becomes available immediately for reassignment.
