You can transfer calls in several different ways in One Net Receptionist.
Transfer type |
What happens |

Unannounced transfer |
You transfer the call to someone directly, without speaking to them. |
Announced transfer |
You call and speak to the person you wish to transfer the call to and then transfer the call. |
Conference transfer |
You add someone to the call to make a conference call and then leave. |
Transfer to queue |
You transfer the call to a queue in Queued calls. |
To transfer a call
To leave the conference call, select Leave from Conference call
Or
If you want to rejoin the call later, select Hold from Conference call.
If the contact you want to transfer the call to is busy, you can place the call against their number until they are free to take it. If the contact doesn't answer within a certain time, the call is returned to Call console.
You can transfer the call to a contact's voicemail or to your own.
To transfer an incoming call to voicemail from a call notification, select .
The call is placed at the bottom of the selected queue.
You can request that a call is transferred to someone in your hunt group. One Net Receptionist uses the call distribution rules to find a contact to transfer the call to. If the contact doesn't answer within a certain time, the call is returned to Call console.
If the call can be transferred, it is removed from Call console.
To transfer a call with drag and drop
A quick way to transfer a call is to drag it from Call console to a contact in . When you do this, a green arrow appears and the contact you select expands so you can select the Txr button.
You can configure your system to transfer a call automatically when you drop it on a contact.
