Analogue phone adapters
About analogue phone adapters
An analogue phone adapter is a device that allows you to connect analogue fax machines to One Net Business so that you can send faxes over the internet.
You can perform call management tasks on your analogue phone or fax machine with feature access codes (FACs). For example, you can forward calls or pick up other users' calls.

Analogue phones and fax machines don't share information automatically with One Net Business. For example, if you want your company's main phone book on your phone, you have to add it manually. For instructions on how to perform specific tasks with your phone or fax machine, see the manufacturer's instructions.
An analogue phone adapter is also known as an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA).
Port use during setup
During the initial setup of your analogue phone adapter, the Phone 1 port is used by default.
If users are added to both ports and the user on the Phone 1 port is deleted, the remaining user automatically changes from the Phone 2 port to the Phone 1 port.
Adding an analogue phone adapter 
For administrators only
To add an analogue phone adapter
- If you're an enterprise administrator, select the required site.
- Select Benutzer einrichten.
- Select Benutzer hinzufügen.
- From the list, select an available phone number.
- From Lizenztyp, select an available One Net Business user licence.
- From Gerätetyp, select ATA_Obihai-OBi302.
- Enter your analogue phone adapter's MAC address.
- Enter the remaining details.
- Select Benutzer hinzufügen.
Changing an analogue phone adapter's settings
For administrators only
If the analogue phone adapter has call services assigned, such as voicemail, you can set up these services as you would for a normal user.
To change an analogue phone adapter's call services and settings
- If you're an enterprise administrator, select the required site.
- Select Benutzer einrichten.
- Find the required analogue phone adapter and select Bearbeiten in that row.
- Make the required changes to the settings.
- Select Speichern & Weiter.
Deleting an analogue phone adapter
For administrators only
To delete an analogue phone adapter
- If you're an enterprise administrator, select the required site.
- Select Benutzer einrichten.
- Find the analogue phone adapter that you want to delete and select Bearbeiten in that row.
- Select Benutzer löschen and confirm that you understand the delete cannot be undone.
- Select Benutzer löschen.
